Broker License Course
Course Title: Broker Management
Course Length: 45-hours
Course Format: text book correspondence / self paced
This is the course required to obtain a real estate Broker license. Unlike a Salesman license, a Broker license permits the broker to hire salesman to work under his license. The course is a text book correspondence and is mailed to you. The course is made up of a text book, quizzes, and case studies. Complete the course at your own pace (minimum of one week of study) and we will then email you the course exam. Upon passing the course exam we will email you the course certificate. You can then register to take the Broker license exam. Upon passing the Broker license exam you can submit your license application to the Nevada Real Estate Division.
BROKER LICENSE REQUIREMENTS:
There are very specific requirements for real estate Broker licenses. There is no way to waive these requirements. Please make certain you meet all these requirements. If you have questions about the broker license requirements please contact us.
- Be 18 years of age.
- Be a US citizen or resident alien with a valid SS#.
- Pass a criminal background check with no crimes of moral turpitude. This requires fingerprints.
- Pass the real estate broker license exam. This is done through testing company Person VUE.
- Submit the real estate broker application and pay the application fee.
- Have worked as a licensed real estate salesman or broker in any state full time for a minimum of 2 years. Experience must be from the immediate preceding 4 years.
- 45-hours Nevada Real Estate Law & Ethics.
- 45-hours Nevada Broker Management.
- 64 college credits (15 credits in business related subjects, 6 credits in real estate law, 3 credits in broker management, 3 credits in real estate appraisal, 37 credits in any subject). Waiver: Every 2 years of full time experience in any state as a salesman or broker allows you to waive 16 college credits (8 years = 64 credits, 6 years = 48 credits, 4 years = 32 credits, 2 years = 16 credits).
